As of late, the Iulius Mall food court is set to be enlarged because of the growing number of shoppers using it. The proposal doubles the court’s size and redesigns it to be more efficient and to give it a contemporary look.
The ceiling is painted dark grey to give the impression of a greater height. The layout of the furniture maximizes the seat count without making the space feel crowded. It is a mix of mobile and fix seating for different possibilities of use. The relation with the exterior is made with two seat tables stacked in between the curtain wall structure taking advantage of the ample views.
